From the heart of the Montreal music scene, this is 100% pure, authentic rock. This is the Montreal Rock Collective.

Since bursting out of the pandemic lockdown in 2022, the MRC has lived by one rule: throw out the rulebook and make music exciting again. From their debut indie EP That Was Then to racking up 8 powerful singles and official videos through Unchained Music, they’ve proven that rock 'n' roll never dies.

As we head into 2026, the collective is turning the page on a bold new chapter. While we salute our retiring brother Pascal Liberty with nothing but love and respect, the machine keeps rolling.

For the next 6 to 12 months, the MRC is locking down the studio. We are officially going off the road to bring you a massive slate of music, premium video content, and a few massive surprises directly to your screens.

The studio engines are hot. Get ready for heavy-hitting song placement tracks, starting with our brand new cover of 'Dirty Laundry' on September 11th, followed by 'It's So Easy' and 'Ace of Spades' later this fall.

But that's just the warm-up. By the end of this year, the MRC drops its first massive piece of original music: 'ARE YOU READY FOR A SHOWDOWN'—written, composed, and produced by Ben Carr. Led by Ben Carr, Paul Souza, Dominic Legrand, and Eric Roy, the MRC is setting the bar higher than ever.
